Stokes Picks is committed to making stokespicks.com usable by everyone. We design and build our site with accessibility in mind and strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
Our Commitment
We are working to ensure that people of all abilities can:
- Navigate the site using a keyboard, screen reader, or other assistive technologies
- Perceive content with sufficient color contrast and scalable text
- Understand page structure via proper headings, labels, and landmarks
- Operate interactive elements (menus, forms, modals) without a mouse
- Access alt text for images and descriptive text for icons
- Receive clear focus indicators and skip-to-content controls
- Experience consistent behavior and clear error feedback in forms
Standards & Methods
- We aim for conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
- We use a combination of manual audits, assistive technology testing (e.g., screen readers), and automated tools to identify and reduce barriers.
- Accessibility is considered in our design system, component library, and content authoring guidelines.
Technical Compatibility
Our site is designed to work with:
- The latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
- Common screen readers (e.g., NVDA, VoiceOver)
- Operating systems that support modern browsers (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
Note: Certain older browsers or extensions that alter default settings may affect accessibility.
Known Limitations (If Any)
While we continually improve, some third-party content or widgets (e.g., embedded videos, payment or age-verification iframes, carrier tracking pages) may not fully meet the same standards. We work with vendors to encourage accessible alternatives and provide guidance where possible.

Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We:
- Review templates and components during design and development
- Train our team on accessible content practices
- Re-audit key user flows (navigation, product pages, cart/checkout, account, legal pages) on a regular cadence
- Prioritize fixes that materially impact access to essential features
Third-Party Content
Some experiences on our site rely on third parties (e.g., payment processors, age-verification providers, analytics, shipping carriers). While we cannot control their code, we select partners that prioritize accessibility and raise issues when we find them.
Formal Complaints
If you believe we have not addressed your accessibility concern satisfactorily, you may also contact your state or national disability rights agency. We welcome the opportunity to resolve issues directly and improve our site for everyone.
